Bionic × British Gas Lite

When the offer is the hero, the brand still needs to show up.

We helped Bionic and British Gas Lite deliver a high-impact acquisition campaign — one that makes a compelling offer impossible to miss, while maximising trust and brand equity in a single glance.

A powerful partnership, built for micro businesses

British Gas Lite brings instant reassurance. Bionic brings the switching engine. And a £100 bill credit provides the hook that gets busy business owners to stop scrolling.

The challenge was to bring all three together in bold, platform-ready creative built for PMax and Meta.

An offer-led campaign, done properly

1

£100 bill credit treated as the clear hero message

2

Strong Bionic deal framing with visible British Gas Lite endorsement

3

Category-relevant visuals designed for fast in-feed comprehension

4

Modular system optimised for PMax and Meta placements

Balancing response with reassurance

The strategic tension was clear: the British Gas name delivers trust, while the £100 credit drives response. Previous campaigns showed that empathy also matters – reflecting the variety of real small businesses the offer is designed for. Our task was to keep the offer dominant, without losing the signals of credibility or relevance that drive conversion.

Brand Maximisation™ built around a simple visual idea

  1. Turning the offer into the visual

We constructed the “£100” from familiar, business-relevant objects – from coffee cups and doughnuts to paint tins, sunflowers and wheels. The result is scroll-stopping creative that signals relevance before a single word is read.

  2. Borrowing trust, keeping Bionic ownership

We retained Bionic’s bold layout, high-contrast colour and deal language, while giving British Gas Lite clear co-branded prominence – reinforcing trust without diluting Bionic’s distinctive look.

  3. Adding empathy without losing punch

Selected routes introduce small business owners to reinforce “this is for businesses like yours” – adding warmth and relatability while keeping the £100 front and centre.

A system built for speed and scale

The result is a modular acquisition toolkit designed for rapid versioning across channels — from category-specific visuals to co-brand layout variants — all optimised for platform performance and repeatable at scale.

One glance. One message. Total confidence.
